京都には、だし巻き卵定食なるメニューがあるそうで。
テレビで見て、それに憧れていたものの、京都に行く機会もなく。
皆様のレビューで拝見したこちらのお店に行ってみました。
平日の１２時半、店外の列は数名、５分程の待ちで入店。
定番の八坂（だしまき玉子）、と、鴨川（とろろ飯）を注文。
お料理の提供も早めでした。
熱々のだしまき玉子は、ホテル朝食のオムレツ的な柔らかさに、
湯葉を食べているような食感もあって、美味しい。
カウンター席から、焼いているところが見えましたが、かなり強火。
焼きめの感じなど一切しないのは、絶妙な水分なのでしょうね。
家族が注文したとろろ飯は、具にマグロといくらが入っていて、
こちらももちろんの上品な仕上がりで
家庭で食べるとろろとは、一線を画すものでした。
ひじきの煮物、ちりめん山椒、お漬物盛り合わせなどと食べていくとご飯も進み
おひつのご飯、完食しました。
ほうじ茶も抜群に合う、美味しい。
蛇足ながら、おトイレもお借りしましたところ、なんだか風情がありましたよ。
お店のスタッフさんは、愛想などは見受けられませんでしたが、
ビジネス街のランチタイムですから、そのほうが良いのでしょうね。
