今回は久方振りに赤坂の「ティーヌン」さんにランチ訪問。
タイ政府認定のタイレストランとのことですが、確か系列店が神保町にもありましたね。
店内には王族の方の写真が飾られていたりと祖国を大事にする姿勢が伝わってきてほっこりします。
以前、来店した際には店外に数人並んでいてすぐに諦めて他のお店に行きましたが、今日はちょうど席が空いていたようですぐに入ることが出来ました。結構な人気でお客さんは女性が多いです。
ちなみに二階席があることを今日、初めて知りました…
いつもだったらトムヤンクンなどの定番を頼むのですが今回は気分を変えて別のものを注文しました。
鶏肉のグリーンカレー 950円(税込)
提供についてはちょうど満員だった為か10分を超えましたが内容はライスとカレーだけのシンプル組み合わせ。
カレーは後から来るじわじわした青唐辛子の辛さにココナッツミルクの風味とまろやかさが相まった勢いでハーブごとかき込んでしまい、辛さが喉に直撃して咳き込んでしまいます(笑)
ライスは懐かしの勿論のタイ米でやはりこういった汁物には抜群に合いますねー
鶏肉や筍らしきもの、パプリカなどもよく煮込んであって柔らかくてあっという間に食べ終わってしまいました。
こちらのトムヤンクンも久し振りに食べたいですね、また近いうちにでも。
