あまり期待せずに行く、赤坂イタリアンツアー、継続中です。
本日は、大通りから若干奥まったところにある一軒家イタリアンのこちらのお店。
１階の細いエントランスを通って、厨房をわき目にやや急な階段を上がった２階がダイニングスペース。コルクのような素材を使った白っぽい木の壁と、クリームオレンジのテーブルクロスと椅子のカバーが印象的な内装で、非常に好みが分かれそう。
温泉卵とトマトソースのパッパルデッレ、１みなほんを注文。
出てきたパッパルデッレは、幅の長さが様々であり、そのあたりは面白い。ただ、波状のふちの部分がどことなく安っぽさを演出し、その見た目の安っぽさは、非常に固めに仕上げられた生麺を噛み締めた瞬間に確信に変わる。麺にもさほど風味がない上、ソースが、非常に柔らかいパンチのないトマトソース。時に炒めの弱めのタマネギの甘味と酸味や、パンチェッタの塩分が感じられる。基本的に相当ぼんやりした味わいのトマトソースで、色合いも大分オレンジ系。そこに更にオレンジ色の黄身がどろどろの温泉卵が乗っかっているため、ぼんやりした度合いが増していく。温泉玉子を使うこと自体あまり意味がわからないけど、使うならば、シャープな印象のものとの対比として使わないと意味がない気がする。まったり+まったり＝ぼんやり凡庸にしかならないのだから。★２．５．
最後にドリンクが付いてくる。エスプレッソを頼んだ所、Lavazzaのそれは、量は明らかに取りすぎてはいるものの、渋みやえぐみも少ないうえ、ある程度の濃厚さがあり、料理に比して大分上質。★３．５。
サービスは特段問題ないが、やや機械的。BGMもかかっているし、雰囲気も悪くはないはずなのだが、なんとなくひそひそ声で話さないといけないような気分に。。。
以上が、１みなほんというのは微妙。。。以前の評価を見ると、そこまで低い評価ではないようであるが、現在では、１時に客が我々一組。この状況が、現在のこちらのお店のレベルを物語ってるのかな。。
