職場復帰後初の一人ランチ。あまり時間もなかったので、会社のすぐ近くで、前からずっと気になっていたCountry Houseというお店へ。その名の通り、夜はカントリーミュージックのライブとかをやっているお店。なのにランチはタイカレーとか、ガパオとかを出しているので不思議だなと思っていたのだ。
雑居ビルの2階。意外に広い店内は分煙。が、禁煙でも結構煙臭いのが気になった。あと店内寒い…たまたまかしら？ビルが古そうだから？
レッドカレー@880円を注文。骨付きチキンがドカンと入ったスープカレーにしては良心的なお値段。でも具の種類も少ないし、スープも少ないかな。チキンはほろほろに煮込まれていておいしいし、カレー自体もタイカレーとスープカレーの中間と言った感じで味わい深く、しっかり辛くておいしい。辛いのが好き、というと、追加の唐辛子も赤、青2種類持ってきてくれた。もっとスープが多ければいいのになあ。+150円で大盛りにしろってことか。でもそうすると高くなるし、ご飯はこの量でちょうどいいんだよね。
