赤坂見附駅の出口からすぐの、赤坂青野 赤坂見附店さんに伺いました。
・わらび餅
1枚の板のようになっているわらび餅を木ベラで好みの大きさに切っていただくスタイルです。切っているうちに断面にきな粉が付いて、自然と丸い形になります。面白い。
ぷるぷるもちもちなのに、ものすごく柔らかいです。あんこが間に挟まっているのも食べやすくていいですし、非常に上品なあんこで、柔らかいわらび餅と同じようにさらっと溶けていきます。
今まで食べたわらび餅の中で一番美味しかったかもしれません。
・花びら餅
見たことはありましたが、花びら餅を初めて食べました。ごぼうがどうなんだろうと思っていましたが、ごぼうの風味を生かしながら、優しい甘みで、とても柔らかく、餅と餡との相性もよく、意外にもとてもおいしかったです。
・まとめ
特にわらび餅に感動しましたが、どちらもとても美味しかったです。こちらは季節限定の冷やしみたらしがとても有名ですが、まだ食べたことはないので、始まったら絶対に食べてみたいと思います。
