東京・赤坂にお店を構えるアフリカ料理専門店「SAFARI AFRICAN RESTAURANT BAR」。エチオピア、エジプト、チュニジアなどの料理を日本人に食べやすい形にアレンジしているので、何を注文してもクセもなく食べやすい料理が多い。
ランチの時間帯の名物料理である「ドロワット」という18種類近くのスパイスやハーブなどを使用し、そこに水を使わずに玉ねぎとチキンのみで作ったというカレーは最初はスパイス感を感じながら多少甘みがあるのだが、後半につれてちょっとずつ辛さが増してくる。その感覚が病みつきになる。
他にもワニやカンガルーの唐揚げやラム肉を使用した料理など種類も豊富。昼のカレー利用だけもいいが、夜の方がよりアフリカの魅力を楽しむことができるかもしれない。
