The restaurant is located just a minute's walk from Akasaka Station, near Sauna Tokyo. The owner, who is originally from Ethiopia, opened this restaurant as an African Cuisine specialty restaurant. It is a popular restaurant that has been in business in Akasaka for about 15 years. I visited after 12:00 on a weekday. The restaurant was about half full. It seems that there are many solo customers. The unfamiliar flag and interior are a bit fun. Lunch is run by the owner alone, so it's better to have plenty of time. ◆Doro wat special set I ordered the restaurant's specialty. It is an Ethiopian dish, and in Japanese it is called chicken stew. It may be easier to imagine it as beef stew. It uses Ethiopian spices, so it has a strange taste that I have never experienced before, but it is delicious. It is spicy enough to satisfy me, who likes spices and very spicy food, so if you don't like spicy food, the original curry would be good. The bean salad is also lightly finished with tomatoes and onions, and goes well with the doro wat. It feels like a sauna⇔cold bath. I am very satisfied. It was unique yet delicious. The owner is friendly, so it's no wonder that there are many regulars. Next time I'll order something I like for dinner, I'm interested in the many unique dishes that are unique to this restaurant.
