Story about Akasaka Lunch. This is a chicken restaurant located on the 4th floor where Esplanade Street and Akasaka Street meet. As I was walking along the Esplanade, I saw the restaurant's lunch signboard and learned about the restaurant's existence. I love chicken so I visited it a few days later. According to an article in the Akasaka Keizai Shimbun, it opened in October 2013. The owner, a former rugby player, decided to pursue this career path after meeting the founder of Skylark, who was an acquaintance of his mother. After quitting his job, he also worked at Kanda Meat Center. This restaurant serves dishes using Daisen chicken. The building has Hakone Soba and Marutomi Suisan on the 1st floor. There is a shop on the 4th floor, but above the 3rd floor are dining buildings such as pubs, pubs, and bars. When you go to the end of the aisle on the 4th floor, you will see a poster of the YAMAHA rugby team in front of the store. Here it is. When you enter the store, there is a counter at the back, a table on the right, and a sofa on the left. It's surprisingly large, and there are many rugby jerseys on display. Now, the menu is: ・Chicken cutlet salad lunch (breast meat) @800 All tax included ・TORI fried chicken lunch @800 ・Spicy chicken curry @800 Free large rice, salad and soup included Soft drinks +100, Beer +300 [b:◎ I ordered TORI Karaage Lunch @800 tax included. ] The owner, who is a former rugby player, has a sturdy physique, but seems kind. The price is reasonable for Akasaka. There were 3 groups of customers. It seems like they are fried for each order. It was served 6 minutes later. Perhaps it was a coincidence, but there were 5 pieces of fried chicken, lettuce, and onion slices on a rugby ball-shaped black plate. And there is a small plate of tartar sauce on the plate. The rice is then served on a flat plate. Cup soup later. The fried chicken seems to have seasoning and is brown in color, and the batter seems to have been fried at a high temperature, making it swell. The batter is crispy and the meat is juicy. The batter is not thick and is perfect for people who like crispy batter. However, the soy sauce taste is too strong. It's not only too strong but also salty. It's fried chicken with a strong flavor that student lager players would like. The taste of dark soy sauce really hits home. The salad already has dressing on it. I like the crunchy onion flavor. In the second half, we add tartar sauce, but the tartar is not very sticky. Contains fine onions. It's relatively refreshing. The soup is egg and wakame soup. As for the rice, the plate I have is hollow but flat, so it cools down quickly. It would be better to use a regular rice bowl for this. The seasoning of the fried chicken was too strong, but the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. Equipped with a projector and screen, as well as sound equipment, it can be rented out for up to 15 people. As a chicken lover, I'm going to give it a score with high expectations. Thank you for the meal.
