ウェンディーズバーガー＆コーヒー(660円)
長らく1stキッチンだったが、ウェンディーズとの合併店となった。ウェンディーズは古い人間にとってはご馳走ハンバーガーだ。マクドナルドとは違い、ケチャップやマスタードで追加の味付けができ、何と言ってもチリビーンズがあるという、強烈な付加価値とともに、ブランドイメージが焼き付けられている。だがその後、次々と高級ハンバーガー店がデビューし、ウェンディーズのブランドイメージもやや大衆化している。久しぶりにウェンディーズを食うか。パッとみると色々なメニューがあるようで、それは組み合わせバリエーションであり、初志貫徹、ウェンディーズハンバーガーとコーヒーをオーダー。テイストは懐かしくもあり、あっという間に完食。だが今の世、これで660円はちょいと高い。腹３分目。ここで満足いくまでの食事をすると、1000円は超えるのだろうな。これ、やって行けるのだろうか、と余計な心配。
