赤坂の繁華街から離れた一角、柔らかな明かりを灯す料理店『赤坂互閃』が今回の目的地。
ずばり名物は「鼈（すっぽん）」。刺し、焼き物、鍋、雑炊と鼈の様々な表情を見せてくれます。肝から、後足、前足、首、肩、エンペラと部位においても余すことなく堪能させてくれます。これだけのすっぽん料理を楽しめて、コースが1.5万というのも人気の秘密かも。すっぽんの鍋といえば、大きな鍋が定番だが一人用というのも嬉しい。絶品のコラーゲンが溶け込んだスープを飲むのに遠慮がいりません。笑 先付の鮒寿司や日本酒のラインナップから滋賀押しの印象でしたが、今回の鼈は長崎産の養殖だそうです。実は滋賀県は鼈も名産地なんですよ！
