The area around Akasaka-mitsuke is crowded with people as there are many restaurants, but Hitotsugi-dori, which is close to Aoyama-dori, is a little-known spot (?) with surprisingly few people at night. As I was walking along Hitotsugi Street, I found a signboard for Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). I had never been there before, so I decided to give it a try. The location is on the 3rd floor of the building. Go up in the elevator. All seats in the restaurant are private rooms, and customers rarely see each other. I found out after entering the store that they apparently have a specialty called Tower Nabe, and the courses seem to be quite affordable. However, I didn't have a reservation that day, so I ordered it separately. ■Draft Beer Mega (840 yen) Apparently all drinks can be changed to 2.5 times the mega size by paying double the amount. Regular draft beer costs 420 yen. By the way, the appetizer is something like Neapolitan. ■ Okonomiyaki skewers (680 yen) I ordered this because it was a much rarer menu than the recommended menu. The taste is definitely Okonomiyaki. Eating it with skewers is a refreshing experience. It's very delicious and has a strong flavor, so it goes perfectly with beer. ■Red Ginger Tamagoyaki (I forgot the name of the menu) This was also quite an unusual menu item, so I ordered it. The semi-cooked tamagoyaki and the red go well together! This is also perfect as a snack with alcohol. It was more delicious than I expected. I ordered additional alcohol and a mega highball. I didn't stay that long, but I was satisfied with the restaurant, which was better than I expected. I'm also interested in the famous meat tower, so I'd like to try the course next time.
