We had lunch at an Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) located 4-5 minutes walk from Akasaka-mitsuke Station, walking towards Akasaka-dori on the street between Sotobori-dori and Esplanade Akasaka-dori. As I was walking to go to another store, I was captivated by the photo of chicken nanban in front of the store and was drawn in as I entered the store. Inside, the tables and chairs were ``The Izakaya (Japanese-style bar)'', but the ceiling was made of skeletonized concrete, and the background music was American rock ballads, giving it a modern feel. Of course, I ordered the chicken nanban set meal (1300 yen). It was served in about 10 minutes. The chicken nanban contained four large pieces of chicken, each about the size of a Kentucky chicken breast, and was topped with so much tartar sauce that it was enough to make me wonder. In addition to the main dish, it came with rice, soup, dried daikon radish, chikuwa, simmered Simmered dish, and pickled vegetables. The volume of chicken nanban was so large that it didn't balance well with the amount of rice, so I was able to have as much rice as I wanted, but I realized that I would have eaten too much if I had substituted rice with this amount of chicken. .. . Both the simmered Simmered dish and ginger chicken soup were delicious. It was a hearty chicken nanban set meal that is irresistible for tartar lovers.
