新橋から虎ノ門方向へ、老舗虎ノ門砂場の横に位置する｢ロイヤルガーデン｣に行きました。店内は、ひっそり時が止まったようなレトロな雰囲気で今流行りのノスタルジック系純喫茶店のようです。懐かしい飾りやバーカウンター、椅子も家具も、昭和モダンな感じです。
ランチには、日替わり・本日は「熟成ベーコンとフレッシュバジル、じゃがいものアーリオオーリオ」定番「」娼婦風トマトソース プッタネスカ」「シェフのスペチャリタ ボロネーゼのクリームソース」「相模原濃厚卵を使ったカルボナーラ」「ポモドーロ」など。
わたしは「カルボナーラ」に決定、サラダが付いてます。サイドメニューから、スープと本日のドルチェ（日替わり）、ドリンクも付けます。ラインのお友達登録をすると、初回二つ付けてくださいます。しかも１２時前に来店するともう一つ選べます。よって３つ追加というわけです。
紙製でないおしぼりタオルを手渡ししてくださいます。「凍りすぎちゃってカチカチね」。凍らせてヒンヤリしていて嬉しいです。

ツナもたっぷり、甘いトマトも入れた瑞々しいサラダ。しっかりシーザーサラダドレッシングが絡んでいます。
【スープ】
「冷製コーンスープ」
とろりと冷たいスープは、スッキリと雑味がないポタージュスープです。すくうと玉葱とかスイートコーンの身が底から出てきて、驚くほどみっちり沈殿していました。
【パスタ】
「相模原濃厚卵を使ったカルボナーラ」
カルボナーラは、真ん中に卵黄が乗っていて、スモーキーなベーコンがたくさん、黒胡椒もたっぷりかかっているクリームソース。もっちりとしたパスタがスープ並みのたっぷりのクリーミーなソースと絡み絶品。ソースの固さはゆるめに仕上げてあるので、クリーミーですがくどく感じず最後までおいしくいただけます。単体で飲みたくなるほど美味しい。卵黄を割って絡めると濃厚さが増します。これがとっても美味しかったのでパスタの種類を全制覇したくなりました。大食いの私からしても量は多めです。

冷やしたガトーショコラとシャンティの組み合わせ。生チョコ風になったねっとり系ガトー。

フロアーの女性の明るい接客も気持ちよくテンポ良くお皿が出てくるのも、会社員には有難い。この価格帯で、ここまで揃っているお店はなかなかないと思う。毎日違う献立パスタをいただけるのも楽しみになります。ランチ激戦区の新橋の中でも、かなりお気に入りの一軒になりました。
