(First visit in November 2023) Lunch on weekdays. This afternoon I was working at Tameike Sanno. I visited this day because I had been curious about it for a while. Visiting time was 12:50, there were few customers ahead of us and no customers after us. There were 3 customers on the 1st floor, and we were instructed to sit in a place that looked like a doll's platform. There is one person in the kitchen and one lady in the hall. Both of them are courteous and energetic when serving customers. I originally went here because they had yakitori bowls, but when I visited, I noticed that the menu photo had a sticker for a beef sukiyaki hotpot set meal. Looks like it's not available now. I ordered the chicken Steak set meal for 780 yen. All lunches here are priced at 780 yen, which is surprisingly reasonable in this area. A tray with piping hot iron is served in about 5 minutes. Chicken Steak with cabbage (core part) on the iron plate. Top with one cut chicken thigh. A garlicky Steak sauce is poured on top. I guess the flesh is a little tough. Steak sauce gives it a slightly wild flavor. The flavor of the meat itself is weak, so it's best to soak it in the sauce before eating. Since it is grilled over charcoal, it has a very nice aroma. A good side dish for rice! I was told that I could get unlimited refills of the white rice, but even the standard size was more than enough. It's a little softer and has a different taste. At this price, it's probably something like this. The miso soup had a strong soup stock. Overall, it was a satisfying lunch. Eat quickly and pay. Payment is via PayPay.
