雑多な店が多い西新橋にあって、ほっとする気持ちのいい空間を提供しているのがこの店。
まるでノーマン・ロックウェルの絵の中の世界のように、
あるいはインターステートが走る前のルート66の沿道沿いにあった
古き良きアメリカン・ダイナーにいるような雰囲気をかもし出しています。
さすがに女子率が高いのは言うまでもありません。
この界隈の野郎どもは「大盛り｣とか「バリカタ」とかいうコンテクストに連なる
ものにしか興味がないのがマジョリティーですから、、。
メニューの中からチョイスしたのはローストビーフ・プレート950円。
丁度食べごろの量のローストビーフとサラダとご飯がワンプレートに収まったものです。
ローストビーフはあまり期待していなかったのですが、美味しいです。
期待値よりは倍以上だったと言っても過言じゃないくらいです。
ご飯も程よい量。サラダも然りです。1000円にしてカップのコンソメスープが付いたら
直良かったのになあと、その点だけが心残りでした。
ランチメニューにはポーク・ローストやカレーなどもあったので、
今度は別のものも食べてみたくなりました。
