A playful and special dish! Kakesoba from ¥460 and alcohol from ¥370!
[3 minutes walk from Tameike-Sanno Station] The name of restaurant comes from the legendary Jamaican singer Gregory Isaacs, whom the owner greatly admires. We offer a new yet somehow nostalgic drink. |
The large Gregory's shop curtain is the landmark on the corner of Akasaka Tameike intersection. There is a ticket machine right inside the store, and when you hand over the ticket you purchased at the product delivery counter, you will be given a numbered ticket. When the soba is ready, your number will be called and it will be brought to your seat on a tray. As this was my first visit, I ordered the typical hot fresh coriander soba for ¥88o. ◎Soba...Medium-thick noodles with a strong flavor. ◎Soup...The balance of the broth and the seasoning is good and it has a rich flavor. There are some tempura flakes sprinkled on top, which gives it a mellow taste and goes well with the thick soba. ◎Coriander...Plenty of it, and a crispy texture. The distinctive coriander aroma is nicely balanced thanks to the tempura flakes. I am intrigued by the various toppings. The soba base and soup are solid, so I feel like it would go well with anything. And the large serving of Zaru looked delicious. That's all
