映画『ヴィクラムとヴェーダ』を観て食べてみたかったパロタ。生活圏のインド料理屋では見当たらなかったところ、物販が気になって訪れたこちらのお店で邂逅！！
「バターたっぷりのパン」と聞いて想像していたものとは違い、パロタは紐状の生地をくるくる円形にして焼いたもので、どちらかと言えばしっとりめのパイ生地に近い印象。映画に倣って、結構バリバリした生地にマトンを載せてカレーに三度付けするのはハードルが高い。
やむなく、一口サイズにちぎったパロタをカレーに浸し、マトンと合わせてスプーンで口に運ぶ作戦に。目を閉じると、スパイスの風味やバターの甘さが広がる。視覚情報を遮断するとここまで感じ方が変わるとは…！さすがヴィクラム。
ただ、今回一番心を動かされたのはまさかのアチャール。酸っぱ過ぎず、辛すぎず、ほどよい塩味でパロタと一緒に食べると絶品。アチャールだけ追加で注文したいくらい！！
店内は、エキゾチックではあるけれど爽やかな香りで満たされている。雰囲気は悪くないのでデート利用も可能そうだが、女性一人客が多かった。
