火曜日、意外に早く病院の検査が終わり、取り敢えず外に出た。近隣のサラリーマンが連れ立ってランチに向かう姿見て、ヤバっ早くしなきゃと思ってしまう。
虎ノ門ヒルズに行けば何かあるだろと歩いてると傍の串カツ屋に「寅三らんち」(？)=かつ丼のランチの立て看板。
11:57 ここにしよう、と一瞬で決めて店の中に。昨日もかつ煮たべたのに、かつ丼病？
壁に「東京串カツ」の文字と串カツ持って笑顔の店主？に追っ掛けられてる？虎の派手なイラスト。
その壁際のカウンターは7席、そこに先客は1人だけ。他に2席テーブルが3卓。
店の人は調理の店主とお母さん。
カウンター席で卓上のシンプルなランチメニューを見た。

「ロースで」冷たいお茶持ってきたお母さんに注文した。
3分後に配膳された丼は蓋付き。脇にワカメのみそ汁と千切りの沢庵。
蓋をとった。柔らかそうな厚切りのロースがいい感じの白身を纏ってた。その上に刻んだ三つ葉、カツの衣は薄い。
何となく上品なビジュアル、七味を降りたくなった。
みそ汁から。高血圧の俺には歓迎のあっさり味、刻みネギも入っておいしい。
カツは柔らかいのに、輪郭を保っていて美味しい。柔らか過ぎず、脂の旨みもある良い肉使っていて、玉子とじの食感もいい。脂身も旨かったけど、ちょっと多かった。
玉ねぎは使ってないかつ丼。長ネギが少し入ってつゆも多くない。牛丼は汁だくが好きな俺にはちょっと物足りない。でも上品な味で血圧にはいいかも。
細切り沢庵と掻き込んだ。
ヒレも美味いだろうなと想像させたかつ丼。
表に書いてる「串カツ55えん〜」も食べてみたい。
