虎ノ門駅2A出口から徒歩2分の場所にある「虎ノ門やまと」にお邪魔してきました。ごく普通の居酒屋さんかなと思って伺ったらスタイリッシュな空間と刺身やたたきなど多彩なメニューが楽しめる鶏料理のお店で大正解。
生ビールが「神泡のザ・プレミアムモルツ・香るエール（650円）」というのも、お通しが美味しいのも嬉しいポイント。グランドメニューのほかにも「タケノコ炭火焼（820円）」や「美味しいトマトとアスパラ刺し（900円）」などの旬菜も月替わりで用意されているようでした。竹皮の包み焼なんて今だけのご馳走ですよね。
そして必食は「鶏刺五点盛り（1800円※要予約）」でしょう。この日はささみ・ハツ・もも叩き・レバー・胸肉の昆布締めと豪華盛り合わせ。なかでもぷりぷりレバーの口どけは格別。ここまで美味しい鳥刺しは本当に久しぶりでした。「六代目百合（620円）」のロックと。
「手羽先のコンフィ（三本盛/550円）」もハーブやニンニクなどで1日塩漬けにした手羽先を低温の鶏油で煮てカリッと揚げ焼きにした逸品でほかにない味わい。自家製つくねがメインという贅沢な「つくね鍋（3300円）」も最高に美味しかった！お腹がいっぱいで〆まで辿り着けなかったのが唯一の心残りでした。日本酒も豊富で楽しい夜。また行っちゃおう。
