PR for restaurants |
Enjoy authentic and beautiful Japanese Cuisine that combines tradition and innovation at the Hotel New Otani. Private rooms also available.
Founded in 1931 as a traditional Japanese restaurant in Tsukiji, the restaurant is currently located in the Hotel New Otani. To satisfy even the most discerning customers, the restaurant sources caref |
It's been a while since I've been to the New Otani. I'm here for a family dinner. The arcade where I used to go shopping with my friends, and we used to call it Obachan Street, still has that Showa feel. ◇Appetizer: Tiger prawns and grilled eggplant, angelica tree, and sesame cream ◇Appetizer: Sweetfish roe and sweetfish simmered in sweet syrup, marinated salmon, maple leaf lotus root, deep-fried shrimp bee, crab wrapped in seaweed, beef stewed in tea, fig prosciutto mascarpone ◇Soup: Prosciutto pot steamed matsutake mushroom, conger eel ◇Sashimi: Bonito, red sea bream ◇Grilled dish: Salt-grilled alphonsine ◇Strong fish: Japanese black beef with maitake mushroom sauce ◇Stew: Raw sea urchin, turnip-soaked umami bean paste ◇Meal: Matsutake mushroom clay pot rice, Yamagata Prefecture-produced "Yukiwakamaru" ◇Water dessert: Kyoho grapes, shine muscat, mizu yokan This is traditional Japanese Japanese-style meal. The Japanese Black Beef (quality was also impeccable) and the Maitake mushroom sauce made with soy milk were creamy and delicious! According to my companions, the choice of sake was unusual. Ramen that is only available for lunch on Mondays and Tuesdays seems to be popular.
