開店当時はよく行っていたが、ここも久しぶり。前日に鴨鍋の話をしていて急に鴨南蛮を食べたくなったという事情もある。こちらの鴨は合鴨だが、汁に鴨の脂が浮いた風景が鴨南蛮の風情だよね。あたたかい蕎麦は冷たい蕎麦に比べて蕎麦自体の旨さが出にくいから、汁の旨さは重要な要素だと個人的には思う。そして焼いた葱がまたアクセントとして重要。
出来たときは本格蕎麦屋の構えだったが、酒肴が増え、酒もたくさん入り、夜が楽しい店になっていった。場所柄なのかもしれないけど、夜に蕎麦だけで人を呼ぶのは大変なんだろうね。でも、冷たい蕎麦は香りがいいし、三色蕎麦も好き。
