ホテル・ニューオータニのメインフロア、レセプション近くにあるバーです。食事を終えてホッとした気分でゆっくりとカクテルを楽しみに訪問しました。実はこのホテルには多くのバーがあるのですが結婚式の2次会などで貸切りになる事が多いのです。このカプリだけは貸切りにはしないようです。
実は2010年8月27日（金）に開催された「ニューオータニホテルズ・カクテルコンペティション2010」において上位に入ったカクテルを記念にプロモーションしています。写真を見てその美しい色彩とバーテンダーの想いに
テーマは 「Lovers ～恋人たちの時間～」
グランプリ（優勝）はニューオータニのThe Bar斉藤圭氏のFloral Showerです。写真のようにカラフルなカップに入っており、HPによれば「心通わす恋人たちに甘い時間が流れる。寄り添い歩く二人の道には花が咲き、幸せのシャワーが舞う予感に包まれる」
にごりゆず酒（白鶴 まるごと搾り）、グレイグーラ ラ・ポワール、レモンジュース、ゆずはちみつシロップで作っています。
続いて3位に入ったPure My Love。このカプリの中澤孝二氏によります。
「大人になると何時の間にか忘れてしまうピュアな気持ち。どこか懐かしく清らかな香りを表現して。大切な貴女にだけは素直であり続けたいと願い、このカクテルを捧げます。」とのこと。ヒプノティック、梅酒（白鶴）、グレープフルーツジュース、パッソア、ペクチ。
他にMint Julepとマティーニなどを。訪問は２回に及んでいます。Mint Julepはバーボンとミント葉の絶妙は組み合わせを味わうもので毎年５月に開催されるケンタッキーダービーのオフィシャルカクテルにもなっています。開催中１０万杯も飲まれるというお化けのようなカクテルです。
なおコンテストのカクテルは来年２月28日まで飲むことが出来ます。料金は各1500円
ホテルのバーとしてはなかなか頑張っておりますがやはりタバコを何とかしてほしいのが本音です。
