世間ではお盆休み期間の8月。
コロナ流行に伴って都内へ足を踏み入れる事を避けていましたが3年半振りに半蔵門へ。
従兄弟の事務所にちょっとややこしい事案の相談に向かいます。
とりあえず今後の流れと進め方を話し合って全てを一任して進めて貰うことになって一段落。
難しい話も終わってお茶でもしようと近くにある有名甘味処へ向かうもお盆中と言う事で臨時休業(ﾟﾛﾟ屮)屮
暑い中歩いて来てこれはガッカリ。それならと近くのホテル内ラウンジでお茶しようと言う事になりました。
『レストラン パティオ』さん。
ホテルグランドアーク半蔵門の一階にあるレストラン。
警察共済組合の宿泊保養施設ですが運営は帝国ホテルの100％子会社帝国ホテルエンタープライズです。
この街区は警視総監公邸や警視庁隼町住宅、隼寮など警察関係の施設で締められるエリア一角にあります。
訪問は15時頃。ホテルフロント奥に一段下がった場所に広がった大きな窓には帆を思わせるシェード。
時期的な事と時間もあって客数は少なくゆったりした感じです。窓側の4人席に案内されました。
秘書の方も同席していたので最初はお茶とお菓子をと言う考えでしたが、こう暑いとね～(￣∇￣)
私がお昼を済ませて居なかった事もあり目に付くのはフードメニュー。
アフタヌーンメニューに嬉しい物も頼める様で一気に甘味モードは無くなりました。
『ケーキセット』1,100円(税込)を1セット。
ケーキ1種類にコーヒー又は紅茶が付くセットです。
ケーキは7種類あり全てをテーブルまで持ってきてくれて選ぶ事が出来ます。流石ホテルのおもてなし。
選んだケーキの名称は分らず、ドリンクはアイスティーをお願いしました。
『ミックスサンドウィッチ』1,400円(税込)を2皿。
チーズ･ハム、ツナ、スモークサーモン、キュウリ･トマトの4種のサンドイッチに摘まめるポップコーン。
メニューの下にはもっと嬉しいセットに出来る品も書かれています。そりゃ頼みますよ。
『ランチビール』320円(税込)を2杯。
アフタヌーンにランチビールが頂ける。なんと嬉しいサービスでしょう。しかも銘柄もOK。
当然小さめのランチビールでは足りるわけも無く、
『瓶ビール(中瓶)』770円(税込)を1本。
銘柄は4社から選べます。流石ですね。キリンを選択、もちろんラガーです。
南向きの大きなガラスから差し込む日差しは庭の木々とシェードで遮られて都心とは思えない静かな空間。
先ほどとは打って変わった砕けた話で盛り上がって1時間ほど。
更に事務所に戻って仕事をか片づけると言うので駅まで送っていただきました。
流石に帝国ホテルの運営だけ合って居心地、接客、所作は完璧。
皇居のお堀にも近くお隣には国立劇場などもあって利便性の良いホテルですね。
3年振りの都内進出です。このまま帰るのは勿体ないので帰路が楽になる下町へ移動しましょう。
