I heard that Hotel Green Palace in Kojimachi serves a lunch All-you-can-eat buffet only on Saturdays, so I went there right away. I arrived almost at the same time as the restaurant opened, but there was already a line, so I wrote my name on the reception board and waited a little. It is a pre-paid system, so you pay first and then you are shown to your seat. If you are alone, you are shown to a counter seat by the window, and it seems that you can use the seat for two people to put your luggage. The customers were mostly madams from the neighborhood, mothers having lunch with their friends, and families. There were also a few men and women eating alone. As expected, the roast beef, Tempura, and sashimi are popular and sell out quickly, but they are replenished quickly. The roast beef was cold, but it was moderately soft and easy to eat. The chirashi Sushi was delicious, with more ingredients than I expected, such as eggs and salmon. The mackerel stewed in miso was soft and had a strong miso flavor, which I liked. I thought it was about time to say thank you for the meal, so I went to check the All-you-can-eat buffet table at the end, and new dishes had been added. This roast pork mapo sauce was the best thing I had that day! The only thing that bothered me was that Tempura wasn't crispy, but rather moist...or rather, a little soggy. (I may have felt that way because I had eaten very crispy and delicious Tempura at another Restaurants the day before.) The croissants and pain au chocolat were also a little soggy, rather than crispy, and I thought they would have been even more delicious if they had been reheated in the toaster. But overall, I thought it was amazing that they could have such a cheap lunch All-you-can-eat buffet in such a prime location in Tokyo. They replenished the food quickly, and I also appreciated that they frequently cleared the plates. I would like to come again if the menu changes. Thank you for the meal.
