I was working in Hanzomon from the morning on this day. The person I was doing business with was a fun person, and we talked about various things. After the business meeting, I was thirsty and hungry, so I checked Tabelog. I've been hooked on Yamagata's Yonezawa beef lately, and was attracted by the phrase "Yamagata Local Cuisine" and went to this Obafuro restaurant. The entrance is set back from the street. I headed to the restaurant, slipping through the queue at lunchtime at the famous Western Cuisine Jiro, which is nearby. The exterior looks like an old house. The inside of the restaurant has a cozy feel. An elderly lady guided me to a table seat. The restaurant was crowded with many customers. There was only one lunch menu for 1600 yen. I waited for a while and it came out. The menu consisted of eight dishes like this. ・Muki soba (buckwheat buckwheat) ・Grilled fish is salmon ・Pork fillet cutlet ・Simmered radish and deep-fried tofu ・Spinach and Enoki mushroom stew ・Tsuyahime rice ・Pickles ・Miso soup And you can have as much rice as you want. It doesn't come as a course, but all of these are served together to form one set meal, and every dish is delicious. All the side dishes go well with rice, with rice → salmon → rice → pork fillet cutlet → rice → pickles → miso soup → rice with spinach and enoki mushrooms → rice → salmon, repeating the 10-in-a-row combo three times. The rice was especially delicious, and I had three refills this time. It was a restaurant where you could enjoy the great atmosphere of Yamagata. I'd like to visit again in the evening.
