東京の住まいの極近くにあるご近所の町中華。丁度、千駄ヶ谷駅と代々木駅の間にあり、首都高速沿いの銀杏並木に沿う様に位置する。何度も店の前を通っていたが、利用は初めて。在宅勤務の際にこうした町中華は昼は混むので少し早めの11時半頃に出向いた。中華料理は野菜をしっかりと摂ることも出来る料理も多い。この時はレバニラ定食があると良いが、又、炒飯のセットであると、尚、良いがと思いながら店に向かった。
昼のセットメニューは12種類程ある。記憶は曖昧だが全て880円で統一されていた様だ。残念ながら所望のレバニラはこの中には無い。では、野菜を摂りたいので中華丼のセットを頼んだ。久しぶりに食べる気がする。野菜はもやし、木耳、白菜、韮といったところか、海老は申し訳程度、肉の量はそれなりである。餡の掛かり方もよい。金属のスプーンで提供されたが、中華料理の丼にこれは似つかわしくないし、個人的に好きでない。蓮華に変えてもらった。玉子スープに搾菜、杏仁豆腐も付いてこの値段なら良心的である。
店に料理人含め3人のスタッフが居たが、全て、中国人である。雇われているのか自ら経営しているのか知らぬが異国で頑張っておられる。
なんてことはない町中華だが、店外の構えの雰囲気からすると店内は存外広い。少し落ち着いた感じで意外だった。
