JRと東京メトロの四ツ谷駅から麹町方向に徒歩数分の場所、ビルの地下にあるポルトガル料理のお店です。四ツ谷でランチをしようと探していた時、偶然食べログで発見して訪問しました。
平日の12時少し前に入店しました。私はいつも通りの1人です。笑顔で女性の店員さんが迎えてくださり、好印象ですね。
奥は結構広くて、テーブル席が結構な数ありました。壁を見るとポルトガルの青い絵タイルとして有名なアズレージョがあります。雰囲気も出て良いですね。
注文はポルトガル料理か、イタリアン、西洋系か悩みましたが、実はポークビンダルーは元々ポルトガルの料理で、インドのゴアを植民地支配していた時代にカレーと融合して、日本でもお馴染みのポークビンダルーカレーとなったことを受けて、そちらにしました。
サラダ、パン、スープ、ドリンクが付きます。サラダもスープもしっかりと作られていて美味しかったです。
ポークビンダルーカレーは、まさにその特徴である酸味とスパイスの辛さが見事に表現されていました。カレー専門店に比肩するレベルの美味しさで、どんどんと食べ進めてしまいました。ライスも勿論良いですが、フランスパンと合わせるのもまた美味しかったですね。カレーにして良かったように思います。ただ勿論、これなら当然他のポルトガル料理も美味しいと思いますが。
コース料理の利用も多いようですね。この内容なら納得です。支払いもPayPayが使えますし、色々な点で良かったです。
後で調べてみると、実は私が好んでよく利用させていただいているオーストラリアキュイジーヌのアロッサさん系列のお店だったのですね。どうりでレベル高いわけです。
