Visited for the first time with two friends on March 12, 2024. Heading to Yotsuya in the middle of a downpour. I arrived too early to meet my friend in front of the store, but it was so cold that I jumped in first. This restaurant is a creative Kyushu cuisine and craft sour restaurant that just opened in October last year. Recently, Kyushu cuisine has become popular and can be seen everywhere, but the combination of creative Kyushu cuisine and craft sour is rare. This is a sister store to Nikumareya, a popular store operated by GoZ LLC, which operates near Akabane. The store is located on Shinmichi Dori, just off of Shinjuku Dori from JR Yotsuya Station, and looks like a stylish cafe from the outside. If it wasn't for the noren curtains, you wouldn't know it was Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). By the way, does the "Vulcan" in this store's name mean fire or volcano? I was convinced that they were coming from Kyushu, the land of fire, but when I asked the staff, the ``bar'' in Balkan was the ``bar'' in Bar, and the ``kan'' was the canned food they used to serve. It's a can (lol) Inside the store, there is a kitchen counter on the right hand side, and table seats on the left hand side and in front. The atmosphere is like a stylish American pub. The appetizer is thick menma sprinkled with black pepper. The dishes we received were: [Raw Oyster] ``Aioi Bay (from Seto Inland Sea)'' (498 yen per piece)...These are raw Oyster, rich and Oyster. ``Hirota Bay (from Rikuzentakata, Iwate Prefecture)'' (698 yen/piece)...A rare Oyster with few producers. The shape is circular, similar to European brome. It's also creamy and delicious. The same raw Oyster are steamed, and although they are slightly steamed, they have a strong aroma that is irresistible to Oyster lovers. ``Gokujo Reba Sashi'' (550 yen)...A safe and safe dish that has been cooked at a low temperature. Nostalgic ♫ ``Motsu miso stew'' (500 yen)...I ordered it imagining a common offal stew, but the carrots, daikon radish, and konnyaku were also simmered in it, and the slightly sweet seasoning was really delicious. I love potato shochu (lol) ``Ryukyu'' (740 yen)...Sashimi marinated in sesame, ginger, and soy sauce. Today's fish was yellowtail. Ryukyu is Local Cuisine from Oita Prefecture, and there are various theories about the name of the dish, including the theory that it is a fisherman's dish from Okinawa Prefecture, and the theory that it is Sen no Rikyu's favorite food. This is another masterpiece that goes perfectly with sake. ``Otsumami Toro Taku'' (580 yen)...Seared tuna, wasabi, and chopped takuan wrapped in seaweed. Delicious ♪ Fun ♪ I had seaweed added (lol) ``Kiwami Yukimi Tsukune'' (390 yen)...Cheese is shaved on top of the meatballs. Yeah! Good! "Chicken Nanban - Shibazuke Tartar" (860 yen)...This is a specialty. Large fried chicken with plenty of sweet and sour sauce and tartar sauce. This tartar sauce is mixed with shredded pickles, and has a refreshing acidity that complements the fried chicken, so you can eat it as much as you want. In particular, Fukuoka Prefecture's representative chicken brand, ``Hakata Jidori,'' has a lot of inosinic acid, which is a flavor component, and the fried chicken itself is extremely juicy. “Yareru Gyoza / Dumpling” (680 yen)… Gyoza / Dumpling with wings. The juicy filling and crispy wings are delicious. The drinks we received were: ``Asahi Super Dry'' (580 yen), ``Freshly Squeezed Lemon Sour'' (580 yen), ``Satsuma Shiranami'' (600 yen), ``XX Haruko Ameyoku Joy White'' (660 yen), and ``Blue Lemon Sour'' (520 yen). )...I feel like I've seen it somewhere (lol), but this one is a little sweeter. "Kaku Highball" (480 yen) x 2 *All prices listed include tax. [This is amazing! ] It's amazing how high the level of everything is. [It would be nice if...] Nothing in particular. It was truly amazing and everything was delicious. In particular, the chicken nanban is a must-try. Yotsuya Shinmichi Street. This was my first time visiting this place, and it looks like a fun place with lots of restaurants. Vulcan has only been open for less than half a year, but it seems to be a popular restaurant already, and the restaurant was full by 7pm, and the number of customers hasn't stopped since. Reservations are essential, as many customers who came without reservations left. All the dishes we received were delicious. Personally, there is one thing I would like to see, as it is not a large store, that smoking should be completely prohibited. Thank you for the meal.
