四谷三丁目杉門大通りにある比内地鶏に拘った今井屋本店さんにお邪魔した。ちょっと落ち着いた大人の空間で良い雰囲気。現在、東京を中心に11店舗を展開されており新宿西口店とは大分雰囲気が異なるなという印象。
バグースや九州熱中屋を傘下に持つ飲食大手のDDホールディングス傘下のイチ飲食ブランドで、全くチェーン店感が無いので接待にも使えるし、管理面で安心感もある。
串の価格は400-500円と少々お高めではあるが味は良い。おすすめは鶏の味の違いがわかりやすいモモや胸の部位。胸と皮の抱身は皮のパリパリ感と胸肉のもそもそも感が絶妙。ももは部位が大きく肉がジューシーで旨味たっぷり。
その他どれも美味しいが、イチオシは炙り明太子。周りはサッと中はレアで、たらこの炙った味とレアな味が調和して今まで食べたどの明太子より美味いと思った逸品(あまり明太子を食べていないだけかも)。
そこそこ飲んで食べて1人7千円弱と価格もお手頃。
