曙橋駅から徒歩で5〜6分(四谷三丁目からの方が少し近い)、昔は花街だったという名残りから、風情のある街並み、数々の名店が存在する荒木町、その一角にあるはここ鈴新さん。
オープン10分前で先客は1名。
早めの開店で案内され着席し、こちらの名物、かけかつ丼をオーダー。
待ってる間にカウンターは満席、老舗店の人気は健在。
２番目であるので提供までさほどかからず到着。
卵の溶け具合が麗しゅう。
端の衣がサクサクな部分と、卵とタレが染みた部分とで２つの食感。
豚肉の脂が甘く、控えめな塩味のタレが一体となり美味い。
具沢山の味噌汁も出汁の効いたあっさりめ、丼と交互に流し込み、あっという間に完食！
