平日のランチタイムに利用しました。
古い石造りの建物の1階にあり、外観から趣があります。2階は別テナントでギャラリーになっているよう。
外の通りに面した店内は、スリランカらしい異国情緒溢れる素敵な空間。ロフトがあるので広く感じます。
明るすぎない照明に、流れる音楽も落ち着いていて、心地が良いです。
入口を挟んで反対側は中庭に面した明るいテラス席になっており、こちらもまた素敵。
今回は店内の席に通されましたが、次回はテラス席も利用してみたいです。
ランチメニューは、スリランカプレート（2,300円）の1種類のみ。
1,800円から値上がりしたようですね。
小菓子と紅茶付きです。
スリランカプレートは、パラパラのライスの上に8種類の具がかけられていて、インドのミールスにも似ています。
具は、オクラ、チキン、レンズ豆、ケールと小松菜、きのこ、かぼちゃ、大根、ココナッツ。
上にパパド(薄いクラッカー)とパイナップルの付け合わせ。
スパイシーで辛いもの、甘いもの、やや酸味のあるもの。
インド料理ほどパンチが強くなく、優しい味付け。お野菜が多くヘルシーなのも嬉しいですね。
1つだけで食べても美味しいし、全部を混ぜながら食べても美味しく、バランスが素晴らしい。
スパイスの効果で体が温まりました。辛さは中辛くらいあるので、苦手な人はご注意を。
食後の小菓子は、バナナ、ビーツとナッツ、ココナッツとシナモンのケーキ。
一口サイズですが、普段食べる洋風の焼菓子とは違った味でどれも美味しいです。
紅茶はおかわりでき、1杯目はセイロン、2杯目はアールグレイを注いでいただきました。
スリランカ人の方、日本人の方、スタッフの皆さん親切な対応で良かったです。
お料理も美味しく、雰囲気も良かったので、ぜひ再訪したいと思います。
