今回も次回に引き続き市ヶ谷で食事。
ここはアルカディア市ヶ谷の中にあるレストラン。
全国私学関係者のセンターとしての役割を持つらしく、公共の宿に近い施設だけあって、レストランもちょっとおしゃれ。
前回は平日とはいえ12:30に訪問したところ待つ人が多く断念。
本日はピークをずらして13:20にしたところあっさり入れました。
入口の黒いスーツの男性の案内されて窓際の席の案内、窓の下は道路を挟みお堀が見えて気持ちがいい。
ふと見渡すと壁際の席は満席。
やや中年、初老の人が多く、服装を見なければ結婚式帰りのようです。
本日は牛サーロインステーキ 和風キノコソース (1,430円)
ランチとはいえこの内装にしてはお手頃価格なので、まあ値段相応のものが出るのでしょう。
これでは物足りない、という人にはフィレステーキ、リブロースなども2,860円で提供しています。私は一人でそんなにかっこつけなくてもいい、と思った次第です。
時間をおかずにサラダ、次のトマト味のスープ。
待つ暇もなくメイン。
にくのまわりに焦がした野菜が並び、飴色のたれ。
一口、しめじの載ったタレは甘く、しょうがのような味がかすかにします。
肉自体は固くなく、刺身のような噛み応え。
お年を召した方への配慮でしょうか。
マッシュポテト、カボチャやナス、ホウレンソウなどが脇を固めます。
若い人にとっては噛み応え、にんにく味の刺激などなく物足りないことでしょう。
量的にはやや少ないものの、満足。
地方から会合などで来て、グループでこの辺りで食事をすることになった場合、ファストフードでは口に合わず、かといって居酒屋のランチもどうかな、というときにはいいのではないでしょうか。
値段の割にスタッフの方のふるまい、雰囲気などは好感が持てます。
