ＪＲ市ヶ谷駅から南にすぐ、新坂途中のお店。
オーストラリアからオーガニック食材などを仕入れる商社が’１４年に立ち上げた、オーストラリア発オーガニックコーヒーロースターの国内１号店。
本店は、’０５年にオーストラリア、ゴールドコーストのバイロンベイで焙煎所を始めた、いわゆる「サードウエーブコーヒー」。
世界中から仕入れた豆をそれぞれに合った焙煎で仕上げるこだわりが人気だとか。
通りに面したコンパクトな店舗。
木をふんだんに使った安らぎのある内装。
店舗左手の入り口正面にレジカウンター、右手奥にイートインカウンター。
レジ周りには、カラフルなコーヒー豆の他、紅茶やココアも並ぶ。
フード類も撮り歩かうが今回はコーヒーのテイクアウトでの利用。
メニューが見慣れないので少々迷うが、「フラットホワイト」があったのでＭサイズでオーダー。
オーストラリアでポピュラーなエスプレッソの飲み方で、濃く淹れたコーヒーにミルクをたっぷり加えたもの。
コーヒーがしっかりしていないと美味しくないのだが、ここのはバランスのいいミルクコーヒー。
コーヒーの香りとコクが楽しめる。
本格エスプレッソがリーズナブルに楽しめる、市ヶ谷では貴重なお店。
