昭和47年、神田志乃多寿司で修業した先代が巣鴨駅前に開業した八千穂寿司さん。50年の歴史があります。随分とお世話になりました。ビルの耐震強度の問題からこちらへ移転されたとのご案内をいただいたのですが、しばらく来られずにいましたが、晴れてカミさんと伺うことができました。
二代目をはじめ、いやぁ懐かしい皆様にお会いできて嬉しかった。
夢に出てきた(笑)バッテラと穴子寿司をゲットできました。ウチのお隣さんのアメリカ人にお土産も買いました。去年はテレビ東京の番組でも紹介されたそうです。そりゃ美味しいものね。
実は僕は大阪寿司って甘すぎてあんまり好みじゃなかったのですが、こちらのお寿司は絶妙な甘さですっかり虜になりました。香ばしい焼き上がりの穴子が特にお気に入り。大阪寿司なのにかんぴょう巻があるのも面白い。東京では昔からすし桶には必ずかんぴょう巻が入ってた。近頃はあまり見ませんけどね。
で、私的に神田志乃多寿司よりこちらのほうが全然美味しいと思います。ちなみにお隣のアメリカ人も大絶賛でした、よかったよかった。
