世界で一番幸せな国・ブータン。
このようなキャッチフレーズは、一度は耳にしたこともあるのではないでしょうか。
なぜブータンというアジアの小国がこれほどまで幸せ度が高い国として言われて不思議だったが、、、
国民が皆一様に「雨風をしのげる家があり、食べるものがあり、家族がいるから幸せだ」と思っていたようですが、しかし、かつてブータンの幸福度が高かったのは、情報鎖国によって他国の情報が入ってこなかったみたいです。
けど、今は、情報が流入し、他国と比較できるようになったことで、隣の芝生が青く見えるようになり、順位が大きく下がったみたいですが、、、
これを機に2022年のアジア世界幸福度ランキングを調べてみました。
1位がなんと、台湾！！
ほんとに？笑
2位がシンガポールで、3位が日本みたいです。
こういうランキングはどうやって調べてるのかな、、笑
さて、ブータン料理。
なかなか見かけませんね。
代々木上原にある「ガテモタブン」は、東京唯一のブータン料理専門店。
そのガテモタブンのシェフが独立したお店がこの「LASOLA」です。
ってことは、日本で唯一のブータン料理専門店から
独立したってことですね。
いやー…ブータン料理専門店はたった2軒しかないということですね。。
さて、ブータンの料理ってどんな料理？
調べると、何といっても唐辛子を野菜として食べるという文化です。世界一辛い料理らしいですね。
さて、シャモダツィ(キノコと唐辛子のチーズ煮込み)を。これはブータンの定番料理とのこと。
クリーミーでシチューのような味わい。
滑らかでマイルドなチーズと唐辛子の辛さがキノコと相性抜群！
めちゃくちゃ美味しい♡
そして、、思いの外、辛くなかった！
日本人向けに辛さを抑えているとの記載通り、辛さは控えめでした。
辛いのが苦手な人でも食べられると思います。
けれど、結構塩辛いです。
どれくらい塩入れてるのかな、、、。
お酒が欲しくなるくらい塩辛さ。
ん？ブータンの人お酒飲むのかな？
仏教だから飲まないかな。って調べたら、、、
ブータン国内の死因のトップは、アルコールの飲みすぎに起因する肝臓の病気でした。
えーーー！！衝撃的。。
さらに、長年禁止されていたたばこの販売が、新型コロナウイルスの流行対策として、異例にも解禁されたみたいです。。
うーん、ブータンのイメージが…。
さてさて、続いては、パクシャパを。豚肉と大根の唐辛子煮込み、ブータンでもとてもポピュラーな料理のひとつです。
これも味付けはご飯が進みますね！
モモは形がとても可愛らしいですね。
チーズモモはチーズとキャベツのベジタブル蒸し餃子。
ちょっとチーズのくせがあったかな〜。。
楽しい体験でした！
