I've been to a few restaurants that are said to have good fried horse mackerel, but they were all pretty good and didn't feel special. If you go on a road trip, you might be able to find really good fried horse mackerel, but I don't want to spend hours there. I thought about going all the way to Matsuura in Nagasaki Prefecture, which is said to be the sacred place for fried horse mackerel, but I found out that there is a restaurant in Tokyo that specializes in fried horse mackerel that apparently uses horse mackerel from Matsuura, so I decided to visit it right away. 1:00 p.m. Even though it's spring, I was shivering on this very cold day. There was plenty of room so I was seated without having to wait. I was asked if I would like to have a set meal as it was only a fried horse mackerel set meal. I said yes and completed my order. All that was left to do was wait. 10 The fried horse mackerel that arrived in about a minute was not the usual open one, but the three-piece grated type.It came with a small plate of raw eggs, grated radish, and wasabi, but I wonder how to eat it correctly. On the table were soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, cheese, wasabi, seaweed, etc. It looks like you can enjoy a variety of different flavors.First, try the fried bone. It's crispy and delicious, making you want to drink beer. Now for the fried horse mackerel. It comes with the standard tartar sauce, but what surprised me at the first bite was how fluffy the meat was. Is this a frying technique? Is it the horse mackerel itself? The horse mackerel is thick and firm in size, yet fluffy. This is a big hit.You can enjoy it with sauce, wasabi, and seaweed to change the flavor, but all of them are delicious.Refills of rice are free, so you can get half a second of rice midway through.Grated radish and wasabi topped with soy sauce. The raw egg is covered in dashi soy sauce, so mix it with the rice. It's a shame, but I finished with the last piece.I was satisfied.I found out that I could eat fried horse mackerel of this quality without having to go all the way to Matsuura, so I decided to go to Nagasaki. It doesn't seem like it's going to be available for a while. After I finished eating, I found a pouch with the recommended way to eat it written on the table, but the recommended way to eat it is for the next festival.Fried horse mackerel set meal 1800 yen.It was more satisfying than the price.Thank you for the meal. I'll come back later
