目白通りと江戸川橋通りが交差する江戸川橋、
その南に3ブロック辺りから
東に伸びる地蔵通り商店街。
2分ほど歩いて商店街が途切れる角にお店。
二階建ての年季の入った一軒家。
北側の入り口は
女性服のショーウインドウがある
洋品店オンザコーナー、
東側が喫茶店の入り口。
8時少し前に店の前に到着。
すると丁度マスターが外に出て来て、
開店準備、
8時ピッタリに店が開く。
入店して入口で手指消毒。
正面と右にカウンター席とキッチン、
左にテーブル席。
ネット情報では1973年創業というから
48年であるが、
店内はきれいに磨き上げられその古さは感じない。
古い時代のアメリカンミュージックが
心地よく流れる。
奥右手のテーブル席に着席。
各テーブルにステンレスの灰皿があるので全面喫煙可。
マスターが冷水を持ってきたところで
表に一日じゅうと断り書きのあった
「モーニングセット」（550円）を
ブレンドコーヒーでお願いする。
5分で届く。
マスターに撮影許可をいただく。
コーヒーは甘いアロマが香り、
酸味があり飲みやすいタイプ。
8枚切りのバタートーストは
もっちりして美味しい。
ほの温かいゆで卵は殻が剥きやすく、
丁度いい具合に黄身が仕上がる。
マスターが丁寧に作っているのがよく伝わる。
お店のFBを見ていると、
ケーキにかなりこだわりがあるようで、
日替わりで美味しそうな写真が載る。
おにいさんが入店、
着席するなり、
タバコをシュボッ。
すぐにこちらまでタバコの臭いが届く。
この辺が潮時と、
席を立ち、
550円払ってご馳走様。
