最近仕事もマンネリ化してきたなと夕方オフィスで黄昏ていると、ふととんかつを食べたい衝動がどこからともなく降りてきたので、こちらのお店をひとり訪問。
こんな時のためにいつか食べログ保存しておいたとっておきのとんかつ店です。
店着は18:30ごろ、すでに7割ほどの席が埋まっており、場所柄かどことなく趣のあるおじさまが2人ほど座られているカウンター席を案内いただきました。
それほど価格差もなく、看板銘柄とのことで、南の島豚ロースかつを注文。待つこと10分ほどで、とっておき保存のとんかつが到達しました。
まずはソースを少しだけかけ真ん中あたりのひと切れを箸で口に運ぶと、たしかに口の中に豚ロースの旨味が広がり、かと言って豚の香りや脂が強すぎることなく、肉の甘味もあり、今まで食べた中でもかなり上位のとんかつです。
1番と言い切れないのは、私近年とくにとんかつに目がないもので、一定以上の美味しさだとその差が私にとっては意味のないものだと思ってしまっているからでもあります。
とにもかくにも、とんかつが食べたい衝動を十二分に満たしてくれるお店であることは間違いないです。おつまみメニューも魅力的だったので、今度は会社の仲間と来てみます。が、あまりとんかつ飲みってウケないんですよね。
