スパイシーながら旨味の余韻ハンパない
今日のお昼は飯田橋でカレー。ご主人がカレーが好きすぎて始めたスパイシーカレーのお店。
11:40ごろ行ってみると、カウンターが空いてました。食券制のカレー屋さんはチェーン店以外では珍しく、ちょっと難易度高い。取り敢えず2種のカレーをポチして席に座ります。アチャールも気になっていたのですが、本日のアチャールという数種類のポップがありました。こちらは現金注文とのことで茄子のアチャールを発注。さらに見てみると限定カレーとして、さつま芋豆乳キーマとあったんで、それとチキンをお願いしました。しかし何と！2種のカレーを頼むとダルも付いてくると。3種やないかい！ツッコミながら待っていると、来ましたねえ。いやあ、いい色合いだ。香りも複雑です。
チキン、ダル、キーマと順に食べてみます。辛さは控えめです。豆乳キーマがまろやかで美味しい。ダルは軽やか。そのかわりチキンはどっしりしてます。これは混ぜると美味いぞって事で、混ぜ混ぜ。うん、期待通り、アチャールも合わせていただきます。いいねー。美味い。卓上の辛味スパイスもちょっと。なんて美味いんでしょう。スパイス奥ふけー。
そんなに辛く無いんですけど額にジワッと汗。いやあ爽やかな辛さ、そして後に残る旨味。これは俺のカレー歴でも相当上位にランクイン。旨味の余韻と共に店を後にしました。
ポイントカード作りますかと聞かれ、お断りしましたが作れば良かった。食事前に聞くの反則です。こんなに美味いなら飯田橋までまた行くぜ。間違いない

今日の限定、筍のキーマ最高でした。旨み爆弾です。1回目の訪問で、すっかりやられてしまって飯田橋チャンスを伺ってました。2種のカレーをポチし現金でなすのアチャールを発注。キーマとダルで3種類、混ぜ混ぜ。美味いなー、痺れるような辛さはありませんが身体がポカポカしてきます。アチャールもいい味ですね。結局根底に流れるのは和なのかもしれません。
日本の食材を活かすスパイスの使い方なんでしょう。
女性のお客様が多いのもそんな優しさが理由ですね。
