飯田橋駅東口から東に徒歩数分、モスバーガーの左側脇を斜めに入る通称タワー飯田橋通りにあるお好み焼き、鉄板焼きのお店です。この界隈でランチの場所を探していて以前同僚から夜は良かったと聞いたのを思い出して入店してみました。
11時50分くらいでしたが、30席程の店内は6割くらいの入り。お店の人に促されて6席あるカウンター席の一つに着きました。目の前にはお好み焼き、鉄板焼き用の鉄板がありますが、ランチタイムには使っていない様子。
850円均一のランチメニューは日替わりのとんかつ定食、豚オイスター、牛皿、ミックスフライの4種類でお好み焼き、鉄板焼とはあまり関係ないようです。
目の前で焼いてもらったその焼きたてが食べれる期待が外れてちょっと残念ですが、席に着いてしまっては後の祭り。4種類の中から牛皿をお願いしました。
5～6分で届けられたメインはいわゆる牛丼のアタマの部分。吉野家でまさに牛皿と呼ばれているそのものです。その鉢と生野菜、紅生姜が載った大皿、生卵、ご飯、豚汁というのが定食の一式。
食べてみると牛皿は普通に美味しいけれど量がやや物足りない。これなら吉野家で牛皿定食に卵付けた方がコストパフォーマンス高そうに思いました。
居酒屋のランチは夜の集客につなげる重要な手段。その意味からもランチにお好み焼き、鉄板焼系のメニューを取り入れて欲しいものです。
