ようやく10軒制覇して千代田区観光協会にリラックマのカレーバディ認定証をもらいに行く途中の神田カレースタンプラリー参加の一番近いお店に訪問してみました。12:00オープンです。
立ち飲みバーでした。したがってランチも立ち食いです。椅子は4席ありますがすでに賑やかな若者の場となっていました。
店頭では女性が手売りをしていますが店内はマスターのワンオペで、カレーでもしっかり一人前ずつ作り込んでいるのですぐには提供されません。とはいえ10分程度ですが。
外の女性店員がマスターのことを「ワタさん」と呼んでいました。だからワタ軒なんですね。
●「レッドチキンカレー」¥900
チキン、ジャガイモ、もう一個小さいいも、孟宗竹とおそらく根曲筍、パプリカ、ズッキーニ。トッピングはカレーに入っているチキンとは別にグリルチキン2ピース、とフライドオニオン。このグリルチキンがいいですね。
おそらく根曲筍かと思われるたけのこが固くて食べられませんでした。またサフランライスも全体的に固まっています。固いのがお好き、ですかね。
スープはココナッツミルクの甘みとスパイスの辛みが絡んで美味しいです。どちらかというと辛いカレーですね。ただライスに対してスープが少し少ないのでベース配分に集中します。
ボリュームは少食の私にとってちょうどいい具合でした。ごちそうさまでした。スープ美味しかったです。夜の本職時も〆に良さそうなカレーでした。
