秋葉原昭和通り口から徒歩3分程の位置にある町中華のお店です。
隣はカツカレーの名店、福与志。
隣には並びができていましたがこちらはすんなり入店。と言ってもちゃんと店内は満席状態で、人気があるのがうかがえます。
町中華のお店ですがカレーやカツカレーがあるのでそれを頼もうとして入ったのですが、気になるメニューを発見してしまいました。
カレー味カラ揚げ定食。
気になったなら食べねばなりません。
こちらで注文しました。
鶏の唐揚げのカレー味かと思っていたのですが、出てきたものは豚肉の唐揚げのカレー味。
パーコーともまたちょっと違う、とんかつ用の豚の衣がしっかりとカレー味なもので、この衣がはがれ気味な状態で無造作に盛り付けられていました。
しかしこのある意味での雑さが、町中華っぽくて良いじゃないですか。
ドレッシングではなくマヨネーズがドンと置かれるあたり、逆にカッコイイじゃないですか。
全体的に塩味強めでご飯が進む味付け。これも昭和を感じて良いです。
ホールを切り盛りするお婆ちゃんが水が足りなくなるとすぐに持ってきてくれるのですが、持ってこようとする間にどこだか忘れてしまうみたいで、何度も彷徨っているのがまた微笑ましくて。
接客も人情味あふれる感じで。
