GW後半の中日、土曜祝日の秋葉原でランチ。第一希望の「手打ち蕎麦切り 匠」は祝日定休。第二希望の「チンタ ジャワ カフェ」は大混雑な上に行列までできており断念。第三希望の「つなぎ庵」は土曜も祝日も営業していると思いきや、GW変則営業でランチはクローズ。途方に暮れて彷徨うとどんな時でもやっている最後の砦の中華に出くわしました。2024年5月現在、総合評価3.45点…悪くないってことで入店。

ランチは全メニューにサービスであるスープ、サラダ、杏仁豆腐、そして水餃子3個までが付き、セルフサービスなので量も調整できてとても良い。ただ、このサービス品の味のレベルは…正直なところ…さほど美味しくはなかったです。
メインの陳正宗四川担々麺は美味しかったけれど、量が多く、半分食べたところで箸が止まりました…。ぱっと見そんなに多そうに見えないのに、食べても食べても麺が減らない…。外食で料理を残すことに慣れていないので、最後はちびちびと1本ずつ麺を食べる感じで食べ進め、どうにか完食。前半は美味しかったけど、後半は辛さと油でリアタイで胃もたれが…。フレンチとかでパンのお替りを結構するので自分は食べる量が多い方だと思っていましたが、ラーメンとかカレーとか、同じ味を大量に食べるのって厳しい…。
辛さは無料で調節可能な4段階（小辛、中辛、激辛、地獄辛）、これを超える天獄辛（小辛の280倍）も＋300円で選択可能。辛い物は食べられなくもないですが、得意でもないので、ここは大人しく小辛にしました。それでも充分辛かった…。辛さのせいもあって軽やかには食べられず、中高年にこの油のパンチは重すぎました。もう若くないことを重々自覚し、外食でカレーとラーメンに手を出すのは止めよう…。
