焼庵 33番地は、秋葉原の炭火焼肉の名店としてその名を轟かせています。秋葉原駅前のヨドバシ側裏手を少し歩いたところにその佇まいはあり、店の前でじっくりと準備される炭火が、来店する客を暖かく迎え入れます。
ここでの食事は、ただの食事を超えた体験です。今回私が選んだのは、一つ一つのメニューを自分の好奇心の赴くままに選ぶスタイル。上タン、ハラミ、カルビ、レバー、ホルモンといった、食べる者の心を満たすに十分な品々を堪能しました。それぞれの肉は、炭火の上でじっくりと焼かれ、外はカリッと、中はジューシーな仕上がり。肉本来の味が口の中で花開きます。
特に注目すべきは、店員さんの素晴らしい手際の良さ。注文から提供までスムーズで、食事のリズムを一切乱すことなく、私たちのテーブルを完璧に管理してくれました。さらに、冷麺で締めくくるのが私のおすすめ。肉の濃厚な味わいの後に、冷たくてさっぱりとした冷麺が絶妙な口直しをしてくれます。
