I visited around 10pm after work in Akihabara. It's been a few years since I've had Yaro Ramen. When I used to live in Sangenjaya, I would occasionally go to restaurant on Chazawa-dori. Since it's been a few years, I ordered the basic Buta Yaro. When I bought the ticket from the vending machine, I wondered if the price had gone up a little? It seemed like it had gone up by about 200 yen. And then the bowl arrived. The volume was impressive. I couldn't reach the noodles because of the stir-fried bean sprouts, so I turned the bowl over and ate the noodles. I added the fried tempura bits, which made it quite spicy and changed the taste, and yes, it was delicious and nostalgic. I enjoyed it for the first time in a few years, thinking that this is what Yaro Ramen used to be like.
