2022年9月某日の11時過ぎに訪ねた。
秋葉原駅から徒歩2分ほどの秋葉原UDXビル3階にある中華料理レストラン「盤古殿 秋葉原UDX店」。
程好い広さの店内には先客1名のみ。
カウンター席に1人で座り、ランチメニューから「黒酢の酢豚」¥1,200を注文する。
7,8分ほど待って料理が提供される。
黒酢の酢豚にサラダ、ライス、スープ、小皿に乗ったザーサイの組み合わせ。
それほどボリューム的には多くない黒酢の酢豚は豚肉、レンコン、ピーマン、玉ネギ、ニンジン、パイナップルに黒酢餡が絡んでいる。濃厚な黒酢の風味が効いている酢豚はご飯のおかずになる。野菜の歯応えが心地好い。
ザーサイも合わせながら酢豚とご飯を堪能。
口の中をスッキリさせるサラダの存在がありがたい。とろみのあるスープも具材のバランスが良く、味わい深い。濃い味の酢豚に合う副菜が良い。
黒酢の酢豚のランチを食べ終わった後はセルフで杏仁豆腐をすくって味わうことがある。最後は甘みを感じて「盤古殿」のランチを終了する。
程好い味の中華ランチを楽しめたが、ボリュームを考えると1,200円という値段設定はやや高い印象。とは言え、広い店内で落ち着いて食べられるのはありがたい秋葉原UDX内の「盤古殿」であった。
