秋葉原駅2番出口の直ぐ傍にある珍しい和風回鍋肉専門店。本日は、前週訪問した岩本町にある取引先を、所用で再訪することに。面談が終わったのが16時半過ぎということで、そのまま直帰することにしたのだが、秋葉原駅から総武線を利用することから、今回もせっかくなので秋葉原駅周辺のお店でちょっと早めの夕食を取ることにしよう。前回同様、食べログ上にBMしておいたお店の中からピックアップしたの当店。夜営業の開店時間である17時まではまだちょっと時間があったので、秋葉原駅周辺を少しブラブラしてから、開店とほぼ同時に店内へ。
入口を入ったら直ぐ左脇にタッチパネル式の券売機が設置されているので、まずはそこで食券を購入するスタイル。事前に店頭に設置されていたメニュー看板をチェックしておいたのだが、和風回鍋肉定食（980円）、和風回鍋肉＜赤＞定食（980円）、和風回鍋郎定食（1080円）、禁断のチャーハン（850円）、禁断の背脂チャーハン（900円）の5種類が用意されている。ちなみに、ご飯の量は、大盛（0円）、特盛（+50円）、回鍋肉の量は、少なめ（-30円）、大盛（+300円）、肉増し（+200円）となっている。今回は初訪ということで、まずはメインメニューである和風回鍋肉定食のご飯大盛の食券を購入することに。食券を片手に店内を奥へと進み、店員さんに食券を手渡すと、どこでも好きな席に座ってよいとのことだったので、入って右側にある1人用の半個室に腰を下ろした。この半個室は、とんこつラーメン「一蘭」の「味集中カウンター」よりも明るくて居心地がよい。
それはさておき、期待の和風回鍋肉定食のご飯大盛は、注文から5分程度で登場したのだが、キャベツ、ピーマン、カイワレと緑色が映えてとっても美味しそう。早速、キャベツを一口食べてみると、八丁味噌ベースの甘辛ダレとキャベツの甘みがよく合って期待どおりの旨さ。豚肉も大振りで食べ応えがあってよいのだが、豚肉の量としてはやや物足りないので、お金に余裕のある方は肉増しにした方が満足度は更に高まるだろう。一見、味噌汁のようなスープは、しっかりと出汁が効いた魚介豚骨スープで、回鍋肉の味の濃さを中和してくれる感じ。ご飯を大盛にしたので、全体の量的には十分満足することができた。また機会があたら、禁断のチャーハンを味わってみたい。
