神田駅北口を出てスグ目の前のビルの１階にあるお店です。お店は、ビルの裏側に抜ける通路に面した形になっていて、何軒かの飲食店が並んでいます。
看板には 讃岐うどん の文字が見えます。私は、腰の強いうどん が大好きなので期待が高まります。
さっそく引戸を開けて入店です。到着は12時10分頃でしたが、たまたま空席があり、待たずにカウンター席へ。
いろいろなメニューがあって迷いましたが、周囲を見渡すと "選べるうどん 本日の定食" を食べている人が目立ったので、私もそれに。この日のご飯物は しらす味玉丼 です。うどんの種類も選択できますので、かけ にしました。うどんを 大盛(+150円) にしてもらって、さらに この店の名物(?) 煮干し天 と 玉子天 を追加しました。注文した後で気付いたのですが、丼に温玉が載っているので、玉子2個になってしまいましたね。煮干し と しらす も似ていると言えば似ているし。(^_^;)
5分ほどでお盆に載せられて到着した 定食。かけうどん を 大盛 にしただけあって、かなりのボリュームです。また、定食は 天ぷら付 と書かれていましたが、身の厚い 椎茸の天ぷら が付いていました。
さっそく頂きます。まずは うどん から。私が 讃岐うどん という名前から想像していたよりも柔らかでしたが、関西風の薄い色の汁とマッチしてなかなか美味しい。次いで 煮干し天 を頂きます。この人生で初の 煮干し天。"食べる煮干し" として市販されているような 小型の煮干し を かき揚げ のようにして揚げてあります。これは美味しいですね！ 汁が浸みる前のカリカリの状態でも美味しいですし、汁を吸って煮干しがバラバラに散けた状態でも美味しい。まだ 煮干し天 を食べたことが無い方がおられましたら、ぜひお試し下さい！
一方の しらす温玉丼 は、ミニ丼かと思いきや、けっこうな量があります。とろりとした 温玉の黄身 が しらす の味をまろやかにまとめて、これまた実に美味しい！ ペロリと平らげてしまいました。
とても満足度の高いランチになりました。
