PR for restaurants |
This is a rare restaurant where you can enjoy the finest raw lamb shipped directly from Hokkaido. It's definitely worth the trip, even from far away, not just Akihabara.
[Authentic Lamb] A Genghis Khan (Mutton grilled on a hot plate) specialty restaurant run by a female proprietress from Rausu, Hokkaido. Raw lamb and salted offal are sourced from a meat wholesaler run |
We made a reservation and visited this Genghis Khan (Mutton grilled on a hot plate) restaurant for the first time on the way back from a mountain trip. It seems to be run by a husband and wife, and they came from Rausu Town in Hokkaido. They serve a few a la carte dishes, but the main dish is Genghis Khan (Mutton grilled on a hot plate), and it seems to be a restaurant where you order the ¥3,700 course and then order extras. The course starts with the husband teaching how to cook vegetables such as bean sprouts, and then the wife goes around to each table and teaches how to grill each type of meat, which is a good style for those who don't mind that kind of style. Also, because there are many office workers around, they basically only serve lamb, and they don't serve mutton because it smells bad on clothes. Most of the staff are probably Thai, but the wife is lively and well-trained, so it was a pretty good experience. <Meal (course)> ・Vegetable platter *Bean sprouts, Chinese chives, carrots, onions, green peppers, garlic sprouts ・Raw lamb →A little smelly but still delicious ・Salted raw lamb →Delicious with less smell ・Seasoned raw lamb →Same smelly, marinated in sauce ・Raw lamb loin Steak →Delicious with almost no smell ・Shiretoko chicken →Delicious, cooked well under the guidance of the wife ・Small rice (additional order) ・Grilled vegetables *Cabbage, enoki mushrooms, potatoes ・Rice (medium) <Drinks> ・Draft beer, citric acid sour, oolong tea The total cost was ¥16,981 for three people, about ¥5,600 per person. By the way, there were three older friends sitting next to me, and we shared the specialty, a rather sweet thick omelet, and about 2/3 of a bottle of red wine (Syrah). It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
