PR for restaurants |
This is a rare restaurant where you can enjoy the finest raw lamb shipped directly from Hokkaido. It's definitely worth the trip, even from far away, not just Akihabara.
[Authentic Lamb] A Genghis Khan (Mutton grilled on a hot plate) specialty restaurant run by a female proprietress from Rausu, Hokkaido. Raw lamb and salted offal are sourced from a meat wholesaler run |
We called at the last minute to visit on a weekend night. It seemed to be full when we entered, so it's probably best to make a reservation if you're planning to go. They seem to have courses available, but we went for a la carte this time. When ordering a la carte, the rule seems to be to order either premium loin lamb or raw lamb Genghis Khan (Mutton grilled on a hot plate) for the number of people in the restaurant. We ended up eating both. From what I saw on YouTube, I wonder if they grill everything for us? I thought so, but it was self-service There was no instruction on how to grill, etc. I just grilled it as I thought it would be something like laying vegetables around the edge, grilling the meat in the middle, and mixing the oil with the vegetables Bean sprouts burn easily, so there seems to be room for improvement I ordered four types of meat ・Premium raw loin lamb ・Raw lamb Genghis Khan (Mutton grilled on a hot plate) ・Raw lamb with salt sauce ・Aged seasoned lamb The top two were soft and had no unpleasant odor I cooked them rare as recommended by the waiter, and they were really delicious The bottom two were instructed by the waiter to be cooked well, and naturally they became hard, so I think they were a bit lacking in comparison If I were to order, I think I would just go with the top two What I'm concerned about is the premium raw lamb Steak I ordered a bottle of red wine, but it was ice cold, as if it had been stored in the fridge I think it would be better to warm it up near the fire since I ordered first
